Avatar Angel, 2022
Avatar Angel is a small scale sculpture that functions as jewelry, designed for the Rema Hort Mann Foundation’s Guardian Angels project, which gifts them to cancer patients at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital. My participation in this project was facilitated by artist Elliot Arkin, who coordinated the artist donations to the project and helped Peter Hort to organize the donations and supervise their fabrication. Most significantly, the Foundation gives Quality of Life Cancer grants to patients currently undergoing treatment to enable family members to be by the side of loved ones during their treatment.
