PHANTOM LIMB, ongoing

I began thinking about this project a long time ago and intermittently add to it. For me, it is about how we articulate images to ourselves that get seared into our memories. Yes, we may just close our eyes and see them shimmering on our eyelids, but we often talk to ourselves about them too. That got me started trying to describe them in clear simple language to myself and this is what emerged from that activity. Each image sits below the block of color you see and that color block is derived from one pixel in the original image.
